Each session is an amalgamation of therapeutic approaches, thoughtfully shaped in collaboration with you. At the heart of our work is the intention to support a more regulated and resilient nervous system, gently heal attachment trauma, and nurture a deeply embodied connection to your inner self and spiritual practice.

Our time together is grounded in a somatic (body-based) focus, while also integrating elements of psychotherapy, coaching, and the wisdom of Yoga—both in practice and philosophy.

What will we do?

  • Gently learn and practise tools to calm and regulate your nervous system

  • Build your ability to stay present with physical sensations and emotions

  • Heal the pain of past attachment wounds and experiences of relational trauma

  • Develop a deeper sense of safety, trust, and connection in your relationships

  • Reconnect with and strengthen healthy emotional and physical boundaries

  • Reclaim a felt sense of safety and ease within your body

Why Somatic Therapy?

When we experience attachment wounds or trauma—disruptions to our sense of safety, security, and connection—it can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, and out of sync with ourselves and others. These experiences often live beneath our conscious awareness. While our minds may not recall every moment of disconnection, our bodies and nervous systems remember.

Talk therapy can be helpful, but words alone often can’t reach the places where this pain lives. That’s because the body speaks through sensation, not language.

A somatic approach honours your personal story, while also moving beyond just talking. It invites you to reconnect with the body’s wisdom and learn practical tools to regulate your nervous system. This helps you gently return to a sense of safety, presence, and connection—from the inside out.

Session Types:

Sessions are face-to-face (Wentworth Falls, Blue Mountains NSW) or online (Google Meet).

Our initial session together (90min) is an opportunity to explore your story to date, focusing on physical sensations rather than a linear recount of events. We will work on some basic grounding strategies and explore goals for our ongoing work together.

Follow-up session (60min) offer space to reflect on how the tools and practices are unfolding in your daily life. Together, we continue developing strategies for nervous system regulation while gently addressing unresolved trauma, relational patterns, and boundary challenges from a body-based perspective. The focus remains on rebuilding a sense of safety and trust in your body—learning to be with its sensations and emotions with greater ease and compassion.

Generally, follow-up sessions will be 2-4weeks apart, and depending on your individual goals and process, we may work together for only 2-4 sessions or more long-term as I walk with you through different seasons of life.
